Presentation of the book and its lessons:
The first student book has 16 units; each unit consists of 6 lessons; i.e. 96 lessons for the entire book. Each unit is designed as follows:

First lesson: the presentation, 3 pages long; it has 3 dialogues, except the first unit which has 6 dialogues.

Second lesson: vocabulary, on 3 pages; it includes an essential vocabulary and a complementary vocabulary.

Third lesson: syntactic structures on 4 pages. It includes: tests and a summary of the structures.

Fourth lesson: phonemes and oral comprehension on 3 pages. Within the phonemes: words, simple expressions and Quranic verses. As for oral comprehension: the level of the word, the sentence and the expression, the dialogue, then the paragraph.

Fifth lesson: language on 3 pages; it includes: tests in the form of questions and answers, dialogue scenes, dotted exercises to complete, the description of the iconographies, and communication tests.

Sixth lesson: reading and writing on 4 pages. Reading: the level of the word, the sentence and the expression, then the paragraph. Various tests were used there. Writing: spelling of isolated letters, their transcription into words, their connection with their different shapes and positions (automatic writing).

The student book has two types of assessments:

§ A two-page self-assessment found after every two units, the whole comprising 8 exams.

§ Two in-depth reviews:

o A partial exam on 4 pages, in the middle of the book after the eighth unit.

o A 6-page final exam, after the sixteenth unit.

The student's book also includes, at the end, a support vocabulary with iconographic illustrations, as well as a lexicon of each unit, and another of the whole book organized alphabetically.
