About the author: Abdessalam Yassine
Born in 1928 in Marrakech, Abdessalam Yassine is the founder of the Al Adl Wal Ihssan school of thought. Prolific author, leading Muslim scholar, master of education with a strong spiritual filiation, polyglot familiar with old and new Western ways of thinking, observer and fine critic of his time, poet and refined man of letters, he designed a system of thought laying the foundations for a renewal of Islam through a commitment of half a century and an elaborate body of work comprising more than 30 writings.
