Many people have written about jihad. It has been the subject of multiple doctoral theses or research papers in a large number of Islamic or secular universities. Some Islamic movements directly claim jihad through their name.

But the problem posed by this great question is that the truth about jihad is lost between the two extremes of excessiveness and negligence; either we go too far in the interpretation of the jihad, or we do not give it its real weight and in both cases we distort the balance, to use the Koranic expression: "He raised the sky and established the balance, so that you do not abuse the weighing. Evaluate the weighing accurately and do not falsify the scale”.
