The expression lâ ilâh illa Allah is extraordinary. It is easy to pronounce, but it is huge on the scale, because it actually contains all of Islam. These are not mere words that would have no meaning and no requirements. In addition to having a meaning, it is based on the pillars and conditions that must be known. If it were just simple words, it would suffice for anyone to utter it to become a Muslim, even if he did not do any good deed. Easy to pronounce, it is nevertheless extraordinary; it has a meaning, requirements, pillars, conditions that must be fulfilled.
