This honorable manuscript was calligraphed and adjusted according to the narration of Hafs, son of Sulayman, son of the Asadi al-Kufi, for the reading of Asim, son of Abu al-Najud, al-Kufi, the Tabi'i, through Abd al-Rahman, Abdullah al-Sulami, Uthman ibn Affan, Ali ibn Abi Talib and Zayd ibn Thabit, as well as Abu al-Ka'b, according to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Its writing was taken from what the scholars of calligraphy reported from the manuscripts sent by the rightly guided caliph Othman, may Allah be pleased with him, to Mecca, Basra, Kufa and Syria, as well as the manuscript that 'he reserved for the people of Medina, and the manuscript he kept for himself, as well as other manuscripts copied from them. This took into account what the two Sheikhs: Abu Amr al-Dani and Abu Dawood Sulayman ibn al-Majh al-Qahtani reported, with preference often given to the second in case of discrepancy, although it is possible to follow other opinions.
Finally, each letter in this manuscript corresponds to its counterpart in the Othmanite manuscripts mentioned previously.
And the method of its vocalization was decided by the scholars of vocalization according to what was mentioned in the book 'The Treatise on Vocalization' by Imam Al-Tanasi, as well as other important works, also taking take into account the signs.
