With the Quranic revelation, Muslim ethics are superimposed on the proud and severe ethics of the desert. New virtues replace tribal morality: fear of God and of the Judgment, kindness and equity, compassion and mercy, generosity, austerity, sincerity, fraternity between believers...

Faith in a Unique, Transcendent, Creator and Remuner God is the basis of the new moral recommendations, as shown by the numerous hadiths formulated thus: "He who believes in God and the Last Day, must have consideration for his neighbor, ... practice hospitality with his visitors, ..."

In his book "Al-Akhlaq al-Hamida", Mehemet Said Effendi provides Muslims who are concerned about exemplary behavior with the most effective rules that allow either the acquisition of qualities or the development and preservation of those they possess.
In other words, to create in the character of the Muslim either a distance from certain things or a propensity for the use of what is suitable, so that in short he preserves his head from all defilement. Finally, to add to this considerable well-being, the possession, in all circumstances, of a perfect balance and of a protection or safeguard against the base instincts of the human soul.
