With nearly two thousand five hundred articles, the "Marvels of Dream Interpretation" give the reader keys to understanding the vast world of dreams.

Among other methods followed in this knowledge, al-Nâboulsi specifies that "The interpreter needs the parables and meanings of the Koran, the hadiths, the poems, the proverbs, the etymology and the semantics."

He also notes that "True dream vision is of two orders: one is explicit and manifest and hardly needs interpretation or commentary; the other, allegorical and latent, carries wisdom and information to be drawn in the very nature of his images." The dream, cited several times in the Koran, could not leave human curiosity indifferent. We can judge the vast domain of his interpretation, through this remark made by al-Nâboulsi: "Al-Hasan al-Khallâl (...) listed in his book Tabaqât al-mo'abbirîn (The Categories of interpreters of dreams) the names of seven thousand five hundred interpreters of dreams. Of these, he chose six hundred on which he dwelt. Our choice comes down to one hundred famous men among these..."

The "Marvels of the Interpretation of Dreams" also reflect a real world, that of the richness of a civilization, at the time of its authenticity.
