Faith has two parts: gratitude and patience. He who is demanding of himself, takes care of the salvation of his soul and makes his happiness prevail here below and in the hereafter will not neglect these two eminent foundations. He will never deviate from these two short paths, while positioning himself between these two paths in his journey towards Allah.
