The Invisible Evils ( Understand, protect yourself & fight: Witchcraft, the evil eye, envy and waswas ), by Ibn al-Jawzî

Allah says in the Qur'an "Certainly the Devil ( shaytân ) is an enemy to you, so consider him as such", and He also says: " Certainly the nafs (soul) is the instigator of evil".
And the Prophet said: “The (excessive) love of dunya (life here below ) is the root of all sins (misguidance) . »
It is this trio ( nafs , dunya , shaytân ) that is the origin of evils, including "invisible" evils like sorcery, the evil eye, envy, jealousy, waswas, etc.

Of these phenomena that affect many people today , Imam Ibn al Jawzi helps us understand their mechanisms, as well as their effects and misdeeds. Throughout this book devoted to the exegesis of the two suras of protection par excellence (al-falaq and al-nass) , numerous verses, hadiths and invocations particularly useful for protection are cited.

In this book, Ibn Al-Jawzi , drawing from the sunna, teaches the believer what to do, or not to do and what to learn and recite as verses or suras of the Koran, as well as invocations. It also explains the state of mind that one must adopt to protect oneself from these evils.
