The wise preacher is the one who studies the state of society, the situation of the people, their beliefs, and grants to each the rank which is his. It is addressed to them according to their reasoning, their understanding, their natural dispositions, their behavior, their intellectual and social level, and the means which enable them to reach them. It is for this reason that 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib said: "Speak to people what they know, do you want us to accuse Allah and His Messenger of lies." »

How to call atheists and Muslim sinners to Allah?, by Sa'îd Ibn Wahf Al-Qahtânî
The wise preacher is the one who studies the state of society, the situation of the people, their beliefs, and grants to each the rank which is his. It is addressed to them according to their reasoning, their understanding, their natural dispositions, their behavior, their intellectual and social level, and the means which enable them to reach them. It is for this reason that 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib said: "Speak to people what they know, do you want us to accuse Allah and His Messenger of lies." »
The preacher will only be successful in his preaching, his delivery of the message will only be successful, and his words and deeds will only be relevant when he knows those to whom he is addressing: is it a society of sinful Muslims, or Muslims among whom innovations have spread? Is it a Judeo-Christian society? If that is the case. are they jews or christians? Is it an atheistic, naturalistic, materialistic society? Is it an idolatrous and polytheistic society?
The wise preacher is like the wise doctor who clearly identifies the disease, knows it and surrounds it, then gives the right remedy. It is the same for the wise preacher who knows the illnesses of society, identifies the evil, knows the remedy, observes that they are the ambiguities and the obstacles and removes them. Then, it presents the appropriate material, starting with the authentic Islamic belief, making the person it is addressing want to accept this belief and respond to its call.
