In the footsteps of the Sahaba is a box set consisting of two separate sets of playing cards. All the cards are printed on two sides, each corresponding to a different game mode: the "Who am I...?" and the "True or False?" mode. These two modes must be used independently, so it is not possible to combine them within a single game. To get the most out of In the Footsteps of the Sahaba, form two teams, made up of one or more players, and assign each a set of cards.

The mode "Who am I...?"

One of the two teams begins the game by choosing a card from its lot. She reads the description of the character to discover aloud as well as all the suggestions offered to her opponent. Quick mode is played similarly to "Who am I...?" mode, except that a single clue is revealed for each Companion whose identity must be discovered. Players simply have to answer with true which allows for faster execution of the game.

Instructions

The "Epopée des Compagnons" brings together up to five individual players or divided into teams around a single game. Each team is assigned a pawn and begins the legendary course of the Sahâba on the first space located near the Kaaba. The points acquired during the games are simply reported on the board: A square crossed is equivalent to one point. The first team to reach the end of the course wins.

In order to transpose the different game modes from the Sahâba collection to the "Epopée des Compagnons", you will have to readapt the points allocation system. Indeed, the classic Sahâba game mode allows you to obtain up to five points per question, the "Enemies and historical facts" mode allows you to earn a maximum of three points. On the other hand, all the other game modes only allow you to acquire one point per question stated.

Also, in order to be able to play with family or friends of different ages or levels, we recommend that players adopt a point rebalancing ratio. Example: Two players compete on the "Epopée des Compagnons": the first player will be provided with a set of the classic mode of Sahâba and the player with a set of the "True or false" of "In the footsteps of the Sahâba ". With a ratio of three, each correct answer obtained in "True or False" mode will be equivalent to three acquired points, i.e. as many boxes to cross on the course of the "Epopée des Sahâba". It is appropriate for the players to adapt this ratio according to their wish.
