The Language of Islam (Volume 2), by Kévin Abou Ouways

Volume 2 here is the third manual in a series of six, the first being devoted to literacy and learning the basics of the rules of Koran recitation ( at-tajwid ) . As their name suggests, these manuals are intended to enable those who study them to learn Arabic grammar with a view to understanding the Quran and all that relates to it . We have chosen as methodology the fact of combining the terminologies of the French language with those of the literary Arabic language, in order to give more points of reference to the student.

Thus, the lessons are explained in French while integrating the necessary and essential vocabulary for the study of Arabic grammar. In order to facilitate the understanding of the lessons, we have used colors to distinguish the different elements, and we have enriched them with many examples and verses from the Koran in which the grammar rule is to be studied. The Arabic language is the key to religious science, it is essential to be able to approach the miracle of the Koran and its inimitable character. It is a very rich language but accessible to all by the promise of Allah when He tells us 4 times in His book:

"And We have certainly made the Quran easy for meditation " ( S54.v17 )
