The terminology of hadith:

Very often, we hear, after mention of prophetic tradition (hadith), the following terms: hadith sahîh, hadith hassan, hadith da'if, etc. These terms and many more represent an important science called “mustalah al-hadith” (terminology of hadith). These terms are intended for the classification of the hadith according to its degree of authenticity. The purpose of this book, in pocket format, is to explain these terms as clearly as possible in order to make this field accessible to everyone.
