نذر الشيخ نور محمد حقاني نفسه منذ أن أكمل تعليمه لنشر العلم القرآن الكريم فأصدر جريدة سماها " نور على نور" و أنشأ مطبعة سماها "مطب عة حقانية" و قام بتطوير مدرسة البنات التي أنشأها والده الشيخ حافظ عل ي محمد و سماها "مدرسة حقانية" و طورها من جميع النواحي بتحديث منهج التعليم و إنشاء قسما لتحفيظ و ا لتجويد فيها كما أبدع منهجا خاصا حديثا للتعليم بحيث جعلها تضاهي مدار س التنصير المسيحية في البلاد، ونالت مدرسته إعجابا كبيرا من أبرز رجا أجمعوا على أنه أعطى المجتمع الإسلامي في الهند مدرسة مثالية في البلاد، و تم بعد ذلك فتح فروع عدة لها، وجر ى تغيير اسم المدرسة الرئيسية إلى مدرسة أم المدارس
مؤلفات الشيخ
لقد ألف الشيخ كتبا عديدة جمع فيها منهجه التعليمي و لقيت بعض كتبه قب لدى المسلمين كالقاعدة النورانية ، ورفعته إلى كبار رجال ال تعليم و التربية حيث سبق قرنا من الزمان في التطبيق العملي للمنهج الت عليمي الحديث ، ومن مؤلفاته المشهورة

وفاته
توفي الشيخ رحمه الله عام 1343هـ الموافق 1925م و بعد وفاته أسندت أعمال ا الأصغر أحمد حسن بن نور محمد حقاني رحمه الله، وقد نقل ت المدرسة إثر انفصال باكستان عن الهند إلى مدينة فيصل أباد بباكستان و هي موجودة إلى الآن و يديرها أحفاده
