This work is part of a series entitled "Simplified Islamic sciences" intended for the French-speaking public wishing to acquire fundamental knowledge in the various Islamic sciences. The objective is to popularize these sciences and to present them in a simple and accessible way to all. This first part is devoted to the presentation of ritual purity "at tahara" in Islam. Written in an accessible and concise style, it addresses the various issues relating to this subject in a concrete and contextual way and places particular emphasis on current issues, based on arguments drawn from the Koran and the Sunnah, while illuminating the opinions of different legal schools and learned scholars among pious predecessors and contemporaries. This book is designed to serve as a support for the teaching of Islam.
By way of opening, an introduction to Islamic “fiqh” law is proposed in order to ensure a healthy and authentic approach to Islamic “fiqh”. This introduction will serve as a basis to guide the methodology adopted for this study.
