Summary of Fiqh Malikite: Worship practices ('ibâdât), by Corentin Pabiot, Éditions Maison d'Ennour
After having made an overall study of the four Sunni schools of law in a previous book, it seemed appropriate to us to give details, in an independent presentation, of only one of these four schools of law. The advisability of such a study is due to the logical necessity, for the student and the novice, to learn and practice a single rite, in addition to the pedagogical interest that there is, for the teacher and the qualified imam. , to give a coherent image of Islamic law and avoid, at least initially, the apparent contradictions between the different legal opinions present.
Our choice ultimately fell on Malikite law. Not that we give absolute preference to this rite by discarding the three others, but we simply note that it has the advantage of being more widely represented in France.
