The work we are presenting here is entirely derived from Ibn Kathir's masterpiece Al-Bidaya wa al-Nihaya.
This work is a jewel in Islamic literature, tracing the history of mankind from the creation of our father Adam (peace be upon him) up to the end of the eighth century Hijri, the period during which the author passed away. Ibn Kathir dedicated part of his work to the signs of the Hour and the life after death.
