Initiation to the Muslim faith according to Ibn Uthaymin: Unicity is the most honorable and most required science, because it is the knowledge of God himself, of his names, his attributes and his rights over his servants. It is also the path that leads to Him, but also the foundation of all His institutions. This is why all the Messengers have, with one accord, preached Unity.

Initiation to the Muslim Faith according to Ibn Uthaymin:
- Author's introduction:
Praise and glory to God. We ask for His help and His forgiveness. We repent and seek protection from Him against our own evil and evil deeds. Nothing can lead astray the one whom God guides, and nothing can guide the one whom God leads astray. I testify that there is no other Godhead but He alone and has no partner. I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, may the salvation and peace of God be upon him, as well as on his family, his Companions and all those who will succeed him in Excellence.
Oneness is the most considerable, most honorable and most required science, for it is the knowledge of God Himself, of His names, His attributes and His rights over His servants. It is also the path that leads to Him, but also the foundation of all His institutions. This is why all the messengers have, with one accord, preached Oneness.
God says, "We have not sent a Messenger before you, except to reveal to them that there is no god but Me, worship Me." Quran 21:25
God himself, as well as the Angels and the scholars attest that there is no other divinity than Him, the Powerful, the Wise.
He said, "God in his eternal justice has testified to his oneness just as the Angels and the scholars have testified that there is no god but Him alone, the Mighty, the Wise." Quran 3/18
If such is the importance of Unicity, then it is an absolute necessity for all Muslims to be attentive to it by devoting themselves to its study, its teaching, to reflect on it and to believe in it. This in order to build his religion on a sound basis, in peace and serenity and finally to obtain happiness thanks to the results and the consequences resulting from Uniqueness.
- Foreword by the translator:
This book, as its title indicates, is nothing but an overview of Muslim dogma. This is why it does not claim to be exhaustive.
In order to be able to make the most of the valuable information contained in this treaty, it seemed essential to us to give it all its clarity. To do this, it was necessary to aerate it compared to the original text in Arabic, then to assign for each chapter, a title according to the theme. It also seemed necessary to attach to each verse the name of the sura from which it is taken as well as the number of the verse. As for the hadith, the name of the collection is attached to it.
Thus, it only remains to thank the author of the text of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih ibn Uthaymin, may God grant him a long life in order to benefit from his knowledge. As for us, we hope that this modest work, in all its originality, will find its usefulness in those who feel the need to learn about Islamic dogma. Praise and glory to You, Lord, I testify that there is no God but You alone, I ask Your forgiveness and I repent to You.
