The path to God according to Ibn al-Qayyim:
Many Muslims are interested in the question of physical and geographical emigration, that which consists of leaving one country for another, one region for another, with the aim of benefiting from the right to adore their creator in all freedom. However, this emigration is a one-time event in the lives of some believers.
On the other hand, there is another emigration which is obligatory for every Muslim, at all times and in all places. It is the emigration of the heart of the spiritual journey that every believer must undertake throughout his life.
Unfortunately, few are those who are interested in this emigration of the heart. This is why it was essential to publish a book addressing this crucial subject, so that the reader realizes that he may be missing the very objective of his presence in this world: to walk towards Allah.
