The alchemy of happiness according to Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali:
Written by Imam Abu Hamid Muhammad Al-Ghazali, famous theologian and great Sufi spiritual Master of the 12th century. The Alchemy of Happiness is the Persian summary of his most famous work, The Revivification of the Sciences of Religion (Ihya' 'ulum al-din).
Al-Ghazali presents the great theme of the spiritual life: Knowledge of oneself, knowledge of God, knowledge of this world, knowledge of the Hereafter and Love of God.
Pleasant to read, this famous treatise is a classic of Eastern spirituality and an introduction to the Sufi way. It constitutes a teaching which is addressed to men and women with an aspiration to spirituality and happiness, whether they are Muslims or not.
This book has eight chapters:
