The Hijra or the salutary emigration of divine instruction according to Muslim orthodoxy, by Mahboubi Moussaoui
The definition of the Hijra is very little known to the general Muslim public. It is, however, a religious precept of divine institution (tawqîfî). Like any religious precept, the Hijra has its rules, its motives, its conditions and its purposes. It should be known that the Hijra was practiced from the first to the last of the Prophets (from Noah to Muhammad) and it is instituted to the Muslims concerned until the end of time. The aim of this book is to present the subject in a simple and clear way, going straight to the point.
