In this first volume, "Keys to reading"

the author proposes an approach consisting of:

• Indicate the mode/point of articulation of each sound (letter) of the Arabic alphabet;
• Recognize the letters of the Arabic alphabet in their different shapes and move to the beginning, middle and end of words;
• Present the word in its script graphic form accompanied by a phonetic transcription, to facilitate reading, and its French equivalent which is not the only one.
• Most of the lessons are accompanied by practical exercises, the answer key to which can be found at the end of the book.
