Title: The Sublime Qualities of Prophet Mohammad
Author: Al-Tirmidhi
Edition: UNIVERSAL
Medium: Book
Theme: The life of the prophet (sbdl) & The history of Islam
Description: In al-Shamael al-Mohammadiya, the Characters of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Imam al-Tirmidhi, brought together the traditions which have come down to him concerning the physical and moral characters of the Prophet. This book thus gives us its faithful and precise description, far from hagiography. The Prophet had also warned that the lie about him was extremely serious and forbidden to add to his account, when he said: “Do not exaggerate my praise as the Christians have exaggerated about the son of Mary. I am only a worshiper ('abd). So say: the worshiper of God and his Prophet. » Al-hâfizh Abou 'Îsa al-Tirmidhi, born in Transoxiana, in 209 of the Hegira (824), where he died in 279/892, composed several works of which the most famous are his Sunan, one of the first six references of the Hadith, as well as al-Chamâel, of which we have the honor to present here the French translation. The author, of an exceptional memory, traveled a lot, in the vast territory of Islam, without borders, to collect the prophetic traditions and thus had many masters. He was thus able to transmit this science himself to many students.
