"This blessed sermon was composed to the glory of Tawhîd and Sunnah by the Commander of the Faithful, Soulaymân ibn Mohammad ibn 'Abdillah ibn Ismâ'îl, King of Morocco of the Alaouite dynasty, with the aim of purifying the minds of all form of idolatry and any type of innovation, and to incite Muslims to abide by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (saw), a sine qua non of success and achievement here below as in the afterlife.

He wrote this blessed sermon and ordered that it be delivered to the Moroccan people in all the mosques of the country.

The Sultan therefore distributed his famous sermon, composed by himself, the fruit of his eloquence, to the preachers who were responsible for reading it to the faithful during the Friday sermon.

This sermon contains valuable recommendations to Muslims warning them against taking the path of criminals who eat the blessings granted by Allah, and who worship other than Allah, and whom the demons have diverted from attachment to the way of the most noble of Messengers. »
