The prophet ( sws ) said: " the strong man is not the one who excels in the fight, but the one who manages to contain himself in the moment of anger". It is for not having been able to master this unjust anger, born of pride and jealousy, that Satan and Cain were cursed. The imam writes: “This flame of anger is extracted from the pride buried in the heart of any stubborn despot. »

In a hadith qudsi , God says: “My mercy will prevail over My wrath”. God is The Righteous ( Al-'Adl ) , The Most Gentle ( Ar-Ra'ùf ) , The Patient ( As-Sabûr ) , The Forgiving (Al ' Afww ) , The Holy ( Al-Quddûs ) , and His Wrath is therefore still just and holy. As for anger in His creatures, it is not always justified or measured, far from it.

Anger , resentment and jealousy: Here is a devastating trio, which feeds on hatred and which breeds hatred. A hadith reports: “ Jealousy consumes good deeds as fire consumes wood. »
