Al - 'Aqidah Al-Wasitiyyah according to Ibn Taymiyyah:

Here then is the belief professed by the members of the saved group, (Al-Firqah An-Najiyah) group which will be assisted until the advent of the Hour: people who cling to the sunnah and gather around her (Ahl As-sunnah wa al-Jama'ah).

This belief consists in having faith in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, The Resurrection after death but also in believing in destiny, whether its consequences are good or bad from a human point of view. It is part of faith in Allah to believe in the description He gave of Himself in His Book and that of His Messenger Muhammad (SWS) without falsifying the texts or their meaning (Tahrif), without denying these texts or their meaning (Ta'til) without specifying the how of the thing (Taykyif) and without establishing an analogy between Allah and His creatures (Tamthil).
