Clarifying the genuine belief and calling people to it is the most crucial business and the most highly recommended duty. Indeed, it is the basis on which rest the validity of acts and their acceptance. This is why the Messengers of Allah and their followers first of all concerned themselves with purifying the belief of anything that could contradict or affect it. This area occupies a very large part of the suras and verses of the Koran, as well as a large part of the preaching of the Messenger ﷺ. He remained, in fact, thirteen years in Mecca calling for monotheism and correcting the belief.
