At the time of the Prophet (sbdl), women participated in the life of society, and rubbed shoulders more and more with men until they were present in all public and private domains. This was to meet the needs of a diligent and active life. This participation was limited only by the highest rules of propriety, aimed at protecting without hindering.

The woman participated in social and political activity and in professional tasks, according to the conditions of life and the needs of the time of Revelation.

At the level of social activity, the Muslim woman took part in many activities in the field of instruction and education, in the field of charity and social works, and in that of virtuous entertainment.

At the level of political activity, she distinguished herself by her interest in public affairs and her conscience, expressed her opinion on certain political issues, and participated in certain cases in the political opposition.

At the level of professional activity, the woman worked at various tasks and works. This activity enabled her to achieve two things: first, to ensure a dignified life for her family and herself, in the event of the death, incapacity or poverty of the spouse. Second, to increase its merit and value.

This participation in the life of society allows women to reach a higher level of consciousness and maturity, and to perform a large number of good deeds.
