The Community in the Golden Age of Islam: Book by Osman Nuri Topbas

While all Arabia was plunged into a desert of ignorance and barbaric customs, the Almighty sent his divine mercy in the person of the blessed prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him). From this radiant source, a community called “The Companions” flourishes and lays the first stones of what will be called “the golden age of Islam” . Thus ignorant and cruel people became cultured people; the savages of civilized people; sinners and those of low character, pious people; they all became soft-hearted individuals who lived only for the love of God.

The Almighty embodied in the blessed personality of the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) an eminent morality and made his messenger a perfect example for all mankind. Thus his community received divine teaching and an education like an elixir of moral and spiritual values that transcended a semi-savage people into an extraordinary community. Today to rebuild the " golden age of Islam" in our societies, each believer must reform himself in accordance with the precepts and moral values expressed by the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his faithful companions.
