All those who consider the situation of the Muslim community can only be alerted by the imminent dangers which threaten it: an increasingly manifest external hostility which makes it the prey of media propaganda as well as the systematic denigration of populist parties. And also, an internal threat, in relation to which the responsibility of Muslims is more engaged: they are not united enough.

The author sets out his convictions: Muslims will only be able to put an end to the attacks of which they are the frequent target if they unite. But union is still necessary and above all because it is based on Koranic injunctions and clear prophetic commands. Muslims must simply learn to fear God and practice piety. They have an obligation to also grasp the meaning of forgiveness and indulgence. They must finally understand the rules of the ethics of difference. These are the guidelines for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and love.
