Interpreting dreams, according to the Quran and the Sunnah:

Al Qurtubî said: "Some scholars have said: To Allah belongs an angel responsible for presenting the dream to the sleeper in a form perceptible by him. He presents him with concrete images. Thus, these images can sometimes represent intelligible ideas Either way, it's either good news or warnings." Muslim scholars agree in recognizing the merit of the dream and the eminence of the science of the interpretation of dreams. Indeed, the Prophet (PSL) used to ask his companions if any of them had dreamed to interpret them and teach them the art of interpreting dreams. Allah exalted be He has also praised the Prophet Yusuf (PBUH) for his ability to interpret dreams. This means that the interpretation of dreams is a science specific to prophets and people of faith. The people of the sunna and the community unanimously believe that the premonitory dream is a truth, that it is possible to interpret it, that it contains a wise message and that it is a good thing that Allah grants to whom He wills.
