Allah has preserved His Book from all alteration and change, as He has preserved it from all idle talk and error. He said , "May His names be purified" ظُونَ ﴾ (meaning of the verse) : ﴾ Verily it is We who sent down the Qur'an, and it is We who are its guardian﴿ . [ Al-Hijr , 9] .

It is part of the grace of Allah upon His servants, the fact that He facilitates for them the ways of learning the Qur'an, of reading it, of putting it into practice, of assiduity in its study, and that they adorn themselves with its behaviors and observe its conditions.

The Quran is therefore distinguished by preservation and immutability. He is the banquet of Allah, the cable of Allah and the shining light. No one disputes the fact that the best evocation is the reading of the Koran, and that the memorizer of the Koran is subject to its rules of conduct, its aims and its recommendations. This book contains valuable lessons on the behavior of the reader of the Quran as well as everything related to its reading and its characteristics. This is one of the treasures that Imam An-Nawawi – may Allah have mercy on him – left us.

It is enough to know that Imam An-Nawawi himself praised it and called it precious. It is indeed a complete book that brings together everything the beginner needs to know. As for the informed reader, he is by no means left out; he will discover subjects and noble behaviors that are rare to find in another work. We therefore ask Allah to make this book useful to Muslims.
