What is willed by the belief is what the person believes in his heart, what he is determined about, which he announces openly, acting with his members according to what this belief requires.
What is wanted by it is the belief of monotheism which is the basis of Islam, the basis of religion and on which all acts are based. It is therefore the basis of this religion. Through it deeds and words become correct, and it is the first of the pillars of faith and the first of the pillars of Islam.

Through it deeds and words become correct, and it is the first of the pillars of faith and the first of the pillars of Islam. The first pillar of Islam is the attestation: "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah" and the first pillar of faith is to believe in Allah. This is the first thing the messengers called for, may Allah's praises and greetings be upon them and their followers.
Each messenger says to his people (meaning of the verses): "O people, worship Allah, you have no other deity worthy of worship except Him". (Al-A'raf:59)
The Almighty said: "And We have not sent before you any Messenger to whom We have not revealed: No divinity apart from Me, therefore adore Me" (Al-Anbiyâ': 25).
It is therefore the beginning and the basis that is considered to know whether the acts are correct or invalid. If the belief is correct, based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (saw), all acts are correct with it, if they are in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger (saw).
