Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya said: “Allah invites the monotheists to these five prayers out of mercy towards them. He has prepared for them various types of worship so that through every word and every deed and gesture. the servant gets his share of His gifts.”
It is only by understanding the spirit of Salat that the Muslim will be able to taste its flavor and benefit from its innumerable benefits in his daily life and in the afterlife. More than a subtle analysis of this relationship between the servant and his Master, a discovery of the soul of prayer, a true journey to the kingdom of meditation.
Prayer as it has rarely been described...as you may have never imagined...as we should all perform it.
