Here is a completely original dictionary dedicated exclusively to the religion of Islam. Its originality is explained by its practical side, by its bipartite division and its great wealth of information.
In the first part, are the terms, the notions, the religious currents which are explained in a concise and precise way.
As for the second part, it is devoted only to proper names. There are a large number of names of Muslim personalities accompanied by a brief biography, names of places, objects, etc.
Finally, in an appended part, some additional practical information has been added which will undoubtedly prove useful for the reader wishing to enrich his knowledge of Islam.
About the author: Mahboubi Moussaoui
Mahboubi Moussaoui is a translator and essayist. Rich in two cultures (Maghreb and French) and with a multidisciplinary university education, particularly in the human sciences (Arabic linguistics, theology, philosophy and psychology), he tackles various social themes relating to the two shores of the Mediterranean (Maghreb and France).
