• This verse protects from the Djinn, from morning to evening, and from evening to morning, the one who recites it. The same 'Ubay (Radia Allah 'anh) also reported that he had a large container filled with dates which he watched from time to time. Noting that the quantity of dates had diminished, he began one evening to watch the place. Suddenly, he saw a beast the size of a young teenager appear. Ubay then continues his account by saying: I saluted and this beast returned the salutation. I said: Who are you? Are you a Djinn or a human? She said to me: A Djinn. I said: Show your hand. She handed it to me, and I saw that her hand was dog hair. I said: Is this how the Djinn are created?
  
  The beast said to me: The Djinns know that there is none among them more terrible than me. I said: What made you do what you did? The beast answered: I have been told that you are a man who likes to give alms. So we wanted to touch your food. I said: What protects us from you? The beast replied: It is Ayatu Al-Kursî that is found in Surat l-Baqara (The cow).
  
  Whoever recites it in the evening is protected from us until morning, and whoever recites it when waking up in the morning is protected from us until evening.
  
  The next morning, Ubay reported this episode to the Prophet (Salla Allah 'alih wa Salam) who told him this: “This Djinn is telling the truth, the pervert, although he is a liar. » (Reviewed by An-Nassa°î, Abû Y'alâ, Ibn Hibbân, Abu l-Shaykh, Tabarânî, Al-Hakîm, Abû Nu'aym and bayhaqî)
