This is a lecture by Sheikh Muhammad Bâzmûl [may Allah preserve him] which has as its theme the merit of following the Sunnah and which deals with the following subjects: the definition of the Sunnah, its subdivisions and the benefits of following it. Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Umar Ibn Salim Bâzmûl resides in Mecca where he was born. He studied at the Islamic University of Mecca "Umm Al-Qurâ". He obtained the Doctorate in 1414 AH [1993-1994] in the sciences of the Koran and Hadith.

He is now a professor at the same university in the Dawa / Usûl ad-din [preaching and foundations of religion] faculty, in the Koran and Sunnah department. He regularly participates in conferences and colloquia in Saudi Arabia. The Sheikh has composed many useful and beneficial books.
