Qadri Pasha's Personal Status Code is a civil code for Muslims. In force in Egypt at the end of the nineteenth century, it retains all its validity for today's practitioners.
This treatise indeed addresses several of the fundamental points of family life from the point of view of Hanafi law: marriage, rights of the wife and husband, repudiation and divorce, filiation and adoption, gifts and inheritance. Every Muslim will therefore find something to help them practice their faith and apply the Sacred Law in the different key moments of their social life.
