Knowing by heart the Forty Hadiths selected by Imam an-Nawawi (631-676 H) or other hadiths of the Prophet (SWS) is undoubtedly a pious work that brings you closer to God, but it is not enough, because it is also necessary to understand them and grasp their meaning without betraying the spirit of Islam as it is contained in the fundamental and general rules from the Koran and the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet (SWS).
