When the Second World War broke out, Badî' az-Zamân an-Nürsi, the Ottoman sage versed in the exegesis of the Koran, seemed indifferent to this event while people were in the grip of fear and anxiety. Asked about his indifference, he replies: “I am preoccupied with something more serious” - “But what is more serious than a world war, we ask him? - "The Day of Resurrection, he answers".

This brief passage from the book is powerful.
