Title: Quran recitation rules
Author: abderrazak mahri
Publisher: ENNOUR
Medium: Book
Theme: The Holy QURAN
Description: The reading of the Koran is done in a particular way which goes back to the Prophet. This way of reciting the Book of God was codified, thus giving rise to the science known as 'ilm attajwîd (orthopia). The correct pronunciation of the (makhraj) and their attributes (sifa), the observation of the rules which indicate how to articulate a letter or a word and when to do it as well as the exceptions to these rules are binding on all. For this is how the Prophet, his companions and those who followed them read the Koran. It is also because the recitation which conforms to that of the prophet is an act of worship in the same way as understanding the meaning of the verses and their application.
