The Exegesis of the Koran accomplished, at the end of the 3rd century of the Hegira, by Tabary Mohammed ibn Jarir (224/310), is presented in several volumes.

But the translation is much less voluminous, since it is that of a summary of the work.

Indeed, in order to bring this useful exegesis within the reach of a general public, this summary has confined itself to the explanation only, which, it must be said, belongs to this great Muslim scholar.

In addition, and for the same purpose, it should be noted that the translated Koranic passages, put in a very distinct color, correspond to what is underlined in the Koran.
