The life of Muhammad according to Etienne Dinet and Sliman Ben Ibrahim:

Muhammad (SWS) is the Man who had the mission, like the Messengers of God before him, to guide humanity towards God, by reforming Religion, by ridding it of the shackles and errors with which the men of the ancient communities l have charged; he restored to the Religion of God its immaculate color and came with pure dogma and legislation commensurate with man in his healthy and innate aspirations: "Our Messenger comes to you to bring to explanation, after a pause ( in succession) of the Prophets" (S/5, V/19). He was the ultimate envoy of providence. He marked out the way leading to God so that the effort and the spirit of the man in the search of his Lord are not dissipated in obscure ways, the man not being able by his only reason to find God and go to Him without getting lost. "Say this is my path. With clairvoyance, I and those who follow me call to God" (S/12, V/108); "Such is my straight path. Follow it. Do not follow the paths that lead you away from His path." (S/6, V/153).
