For some time the author has been assailed by an insistent desire to write the history of this sublime and glorious religion, and of this eternal and prestigious community of Islam which has come to be a link between the communities, with all that this word implies in terms of uprightness, balance, happy medium and moderation. From this point of view, it deserves to be the locomotive of humanity, capable of leading it where there is good, equality, fraternity and justice. This is a truth anchored in the memory of time and which cannot be disputed by impartial and fair people who do not lean towards conjectures, prejudices and erroneous opinions, devoid of any historical foundation, The author says this thinking to the allegations made by the enemies of Islam with regard to this religion, whether in its dogma, its system of life, its thought and its history. It is true that the enemies of Islam are numerous, who want to denigrate this religion and its followers. Their allegations are numerous and do not spare any dimension among the dimensions of Islam, especially the history of this religion which begins with the life of the guide of humanity towards the good, the good direction and the light, until today, passing through the various political, social and other stages through which the Islamic community has passed, as well as the trials, wars, events and seditions with which its history has been marked. Because of this, the author had a constant, powerful desire to contribute to the writing of these historical events and facts to which this great and noble community gave birth.

This desire was concretized by this book "The Concise History of Islam and the Muslims" which the author places at the disposal of all people in general, and the Muslim community in particular, to contribute to the manifestation of truth and answer to the allegations through which one seeks to distort this perfect and distinguished religion in order to turn people away from it its most careless followers and all men in general.

This book begins with the accounts of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (SwS), the great guide, beginning with his birth, until he was called by his Lord to Him, recalling in detail many important events in his life, such as the apparent miracles which testify to his prophecy, the truthfulness of his mission and his sincerity, as well as other remarkable facts which arouse admiration throughout the narrative of his life.

After that, the author speaks to us of the period of the well-guided caulking, marked by a perfect justice which reached its apogee, a true justice which one only saw in the Messengers and the Prophets.

Then came the time of the Umayyad and 'Abbasid States, and what resulted from it as important and grandiose events which saw the emergence of science, good and equality, without forgetting the seditions and the vicissitudes which marked this period. and which were provoked by the seditious and the innovators, numerous at that time.

We will review all the events and facts that have marked the history of history, one after the other, up to the present day, with all that these centuries have carried as hardships and harmful situations with which were strongly tested the Muslims because of their negligence, first, and then because of the conspiracies and machiavellian plans hatched by the enemies of Islam and the Muslims throughout their history.

That said, the author preferred to treat all these events in a concise and summary way, far from prolixity and redundancy, in order to attract a greater number of readers among educated and cultured people, knowing that prolixity and redundancy are likely to leave and discourage readers. Such is the minimum effort that the author could make. Hoping that Allah will benefit the Muslims and prescribe a good reward for us that will ensure our salvation on the Day of Judgment.
