الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا هو شرح على المقدمة الميدانية الكتاب لتدمري ، وهو رسالة وجيزة تختص بأحكام التجويد ، استهلها بعرض مبادئ عل م التجويد، ثم أتى "الى المدود وانواعها، وتقسيمها وعدد القابها ، وهو القسم الأكبر الرسالة، ثم عرج على أحكام النون الساكنة والتنوين ثم شرع في صفات الحروف، ثم تناول أحكام الميم الساكنة، وإنت هى به المطاف عند أحكام الراء. لاقت القبول عند أهل الاختصاص ، وكانت محل عنايتهم . هذا: شرحُ متنِ المَيدانيةِ للشيخ علي بن أحمد التدمري ، الذي قام بتحقيقه الدكتور عبد المجيد محمد أمين عمر اوغلو.
