Sharh Ghâyat Ibn Mahran (Commentary on Al Ghayah by Ibn Mahran), by Al-'Andarabi, Study and Compilation: Ahmad Muhammad Farid

The book "Al-Ghayah" by Ibn Mahran is one of the most important works on recitations, and the commentary by Al-'Andarabi is one of the most significant and ancient explanations of Al-Ghayah. There was an urgent need for this explanation as Al-Ghayah is concise and its expressions are sometimes complex. That is why it was necessary to clarify its objectives. Otherwise, the reader might misinterpret the author's true intentions. This book has been meticulously and scientifically prepared by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Farid, a graduate student in the Department of Quranic Recitation at the Quran Faculty of the Islamic University, as part of his research towards obtaining his master's degree.

The book lists the title of the book and its author, Al-'Andarabi, its sources and methodology, and describes the unique handwritten manuscript. At the end of the book, there are five indexes: Famous People Index, Groups Index, Sayings Index, Irregular Recitations Index, and References Index.
