Here is a work in which we offer Muslim women, and Muslims in general, the rules of Muslim jurisprudence in matters of menstruation, metrorrhagia and lochia. Knowledge of these legal rules is important in terms of the practice of worship, religious responsibility, and marital relations.

We have proposed the opinions of the four Sunni legal schools, firstly to show the richness of Muslim jurisprudence, but also so that each Muslim can find an answer to her case.

We give here the conclusions reached by jurists, because this book aims to popularize legal rules in order to make them more accessible and understandable to everyone.

About the author: Hassan Amdouni

Hassan Amdouni, born in 1955 in Tunis, is a renowned Tunisian writer, specializing in the fields of the Koran, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) and Muslim history. A graduate in Muslim law from the Zaytûna of Tunis and holder of a doctorate in Arab and Islamic Studies (History and Civilization) from the Sorbonne, he has held various positions within Islamic institutions in Belgium and France. As an educator, he taught courses at the institutes of Islamic studies in Brussels, Paris and Château-Chinon, thus contributing to the dissemination of Islamic knowledge.
