THE SHAFI'ITE SCHOOL

The Shafi'ite school : Founded by Imam Muhammad Ibn Idris Ash-Shafi'i (150-204 H) who taught first in Iraq and then in Egypt. The school is positioned between the two schools: The Hanafite school (known as the school of opinion) and the Malikite school (the school of hadith or tradition). This school has spread to Egypt, Palestine, Yemen and South East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand…).
