The science of jurisprudence aims to analyze the general proofs of law, the methods for applying them, and the conditions required to benefit from them, particularly for diligent individuals. It also explores the fundamental concepts underlying law, both linguistically, as understanding, and terminologically, as knowledge of practical legal decisions inferred from detailed evidence. This discipline embraces the notion of generality, meaning that general rules require detailed evidence to be applied, and it examines how to use these decisions by analyzing the nuances of legal terms, such as generality, specificity, absoluteness, restriction , repealed, repealing, etc. In addition, it looks at the criteria for qualifying a person as diligent, because they themselves deduce legal decisions from the evidence to reach the level of ijtihad (interpretation effort). Research on the diligent person, the conditions of ijtihad and its rulings are an integral part of the study of the principles of jurisprudence. In short, this discipline examines the general rules from which legal decisions emerge, while emphasizing their application and understanding.
