"There is a problem with Islam in France", does not hesitate to proclaim an academician, even regretting "that we abandon this concern for civilization to the National Front". To this intellectual trivialization of a discourse similar to that which, before the European catastrophe, affirmed the existence of a "Jewish problem" in France, this book responds by taking the side of our compatriots of origin, culture or Muslim beliefs against those who set them up as scapegoats for our concerns and our uncertainties. The challenge is not only solidarity but fidelity. For Muslims therefore, as one would write for Jews, for Blacks and for Roma, or, quite simply, for France.
